We are collecting all information on both LONGEWAY lines in the World.Our line is the Rene (Remie) Bodineau dit Langevin -Genevieve Raimond of the Eastern Townships of The Province of Quebec Canada. The other Longeway line started with Bergevin dit Langevin. If your family connects to the other Longeway I have several addresses of their family historians.Our ancestors and family have lived in every province in Canada, the New England States, Wisconsin, Minesota, North Dakota.
Family Lines:
LONGEWAY (Brian's fathers line)- Bodineau, Trigori, Raimond, Gagne, Rowe, Kyser, Derrick, Mullerin, Brust, Wolf, Patterson, English, Smith, Seeley, Hurlbut, Bromley, Charles, Herrick, Signor Schafer, Shufelt, Kreller, Pickle, Scherz, Cleveland, Fish, Stevens, Hazelton. These ancestors lived in CT, MA, NY, VT, and Quebec. They were from France, England, and Germany.
NICHOLLS (Brian's mothers line)- Nicholls, Baxter, Larrington, Smith, Nelson, Rustad, Halverson, Jakobsbatten. Moms line came from England and Norway to Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota and then to Alberta Canada.
ANDERSON (-Debbie's dad,s line)- Anderson, Hakansson, Peterson, Krog, Broe, Petursson, Thordarson, Gudmundson, Hardvardson. This line of Mormans came from Sweden and Iceland.
GIBBONS (Debbie's mom,s line)_ Gibbons, Perry, Mills, Millet, Hiltz, Corkum, Stewart, Cuthbert, Strachen, Banning, Wait, Manning. The first group of these people came from Ireland, Wales, Germany, MA, ME, CT,(United Empire Loyalists, and Mayflower families) to Nova Scotia then to Western Canada. The bottom half came from Scotland to Ontario.
