The Longoria Family
Alonso de Longoria lived in Asturias in the latter part of the 16th century. He was the lord of La Pontiga an ancient manor in the mountains of Asturias, España. One of his sons Lorenzo de Longoria came to Monterrey, Nuevo León in the year 1620. He started the ancestry of the Longorias who traced the origin of their ancestors to Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, and South Texas. |
