| I am searching for information on my gg grandfather, Calvin Long. He was born in 1825 and according to the census of 1850 was born in Alabama and living in Lowndes County Alabama. He married a Sarah Hollingshead in 1847 in Lowndes County and together they had twelve children. One of those children was Thomas A. Long my g grandfather. One of his children was a Mark Long my grandfather and one of his children was Thomas Alexander Long my father. I would also like to find information on my g grandfather Alexander B. Lowrey b.11/15/1861 d.10/2/1914 m.1/20/1884 to Angeline Coxwell b.7/31/1864 d.12/8/1932. One of Alexander Lowery's children was Lola Savannah Lowrey. Mark Leon Long and Lola Savannah Lowrey were my grandparents. I would like to find out if Louisa Hanks was the real name of Thomas A. Long's first wife and who both of her parents were. I would also like to find out who the parents of Alexander B. Lowrey and Angeline Coxwell were. My wife, Patricia Sue (Chinnis) Long would like to have any info she can get on her gf, Simeon Dalton Chinnis of NC and her ggf Samuel R. Chinnis of NC. Simeon Chinnis was married to Gracie Mae Treadaway and Samuel R. Chinnis was married to Emma Garrison. Any information would be appreciated and we would glad to share any information we already have. |
