Notes for Edward Cadman: He boarded the Barwell at Southampton on Nov. 7 1797 with 295 other prisoners. He was tried and found guilty of stealing a horse in 1797. He was sentenced to death. Instead of being charged, his sentence was commuted to transportation to the Fledging Colony of New South Wales for life. He was 5ft 5 3/4 had black hair and brown eyes, he had a ruddy complexion.
