Meakin/Ratcliffe/Wood Family Tree

I have been researching my family history since 2003. The Main family names in my tree are MEAKIN, RATCLIFFE, HOWARTH, HALLAM, WOOD, CHAPPELL, GARTON, BELL, BRASSINGTON and ALLCOCK. They originate from various regions such as Tissington & Ashbourne Derbyshire, Manchester, Macclesfield, Prestbury, Kenton Suffolk, Glossop, Hadfield, Woodley, Hyde, Stalybridge, & Dukinfield cheshire, Saddleworth,also Ashton-under-Lyne Lancs.

One family member Samuel Ratcliffe, my great grandfather is a bit of a mistery, to date i have been unable to find very little regarding his parents and family. He was born in 1848 Dukinfield/ashton-under-lyne Lancs.

I have traced quite a number of lost cousins also visited Tissington where my great grandparents Herbert Meakin and Emma Allcock were married, lived and worked on the Tissington estate. I met a family called Allcock, who turned out to be related to Emma my great grandmother and still live and work on the estate.
