Notes for Amie Vickery: Buried in WILSON Cemetery which is located five miles N.E. of Truman, Arkansas. Take Hwy 69 North at the intersection of 463 and 69. Follow 69 N 4-1/2 miles until you come to two brick houses, closely situated, on the right side of the highway. After passing the two houses, immediately turn right to an unmarked dirt road,B and follow it east one-half mile to a wooded area. The cemetery is on a high sandy ridge of the St. Francis River in the sunken lands, and is about one-half mile from the St. Francis River. It is said that Amie was in prison because his Uncle Clarence shot a man, and just as the police arrived, he handed Amie the gun. White serving his time in prison, he was beaten and shot in the back.
