Per Ellen Norris,, email dated 5/8/99, she received a copy of notes taken from Allie May Norris Sing's Family Record. She states that the notes show that Benjamin Joseph Norris and Mary Elizabeth Tipton were married on Jan 1, 1873 and were the parents of:

M.B. 1876
R.E. 1878
H.M. 1880 (obviously Hardy Melvin Norris)
W.B. 1883 (obviously William Bruster Norris)
J.W. 1885
It is unknown if these initials are for females or males, with the exception of Hardy and William.
