"The David & Virginia [Hoppe] Loofts of Fenton, Iowa."

I am reseaching the Looft family from Schleswig, Holstein, Germany. John Ernest Looft came to America in 1882 after he married Margaret Voss in Wesswlburn, Germany. They settled by Bancroft, Iowa. Their children were John, Mary, William, Edward, Frederick, Walter, Edith, Irene, George, Bernard, & Albert.
In adition, I am reseaching the Ernest Henry Hoppe Family. He came from Germany with his parents when he was 18, in 1865. They settled in Guttenburg, Iowa. In 1871, he moved to Cassville, Wisconsin. In 1876, he married Mena [Minnie] Louise Weidemann. They had 4 children John, Frederick, William & Emma. Two sons died in infancy, Henry & Elmer. In 1888 they moved to Algona, Iowa, where they are Buired. I want to find out the parents of Ernest Henry Hoppe and what part of Germany they came from. I would appreciate any help I can get.I will share any information that I have.
