She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, William R. and Jackie Higgerson of Pinckneyville and Freddie D. and Kathryn Higgerson of Cutler; two brothers, Harold and Earl Cottom, both of Galesburg, Illinois; one sister Ruth Bultemeier of Avon, Illinois; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one daugh- ter, Florence Emily Higgerson, one son, John Paul Higgerson, two sisters, two brothers, and three half-sisters and one grandson.
