Obituary Battle Creek Enquirer May 18th 1968, Mrs. Minnie L. Mack, 73, of 768 N.E. Capital Ave. died Friday night in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 22, 1895 in Leroy Township, the daughter of Manfred and Alice (Badger (incorrect)) Chamberlain. She was married in 1910 to Elmer E. Squire, who died Oct. 13, 1932. Her second Marriage was to the late Lloyd Mack in 1934. The couple farmed in Union City and Abscota areas and she worked several years at Schaffer Manufacturing Co., Union City. Mrs. Mack came to Battle Creek shortly after the death of Mr. Mack in 1946. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Laverne (Mary) Palmiter of 312 Parish St., Mrs. Wesley (Frances) Pierce of 5801 S. "E " Dr. Mrs. Donald (Elsie) Scherer of 6707 11 1/2 Mile Rd., and Mrs. Herman (Geraldine) Nadolskey of 68 Logan St.; two sons, Donald of 768 N.E. Capital Ave. and Alva of Kalamazoo; 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Minnie worked at Schaffer Manufacturing Co. factory in Union city where she received acid burns on her leg, that never healed.
