Notes for Everett Closson: Everett married Bernice Joan Borkowski. Bernice was, and is the daughter of Andrew and Agnes (Nowicki) Borkowski. Everett worked most of his adult life for the Indiana State Employment Agency. Everett was an excellent golfer and won many tournaments. He won his first tournament at Ella Sharp Park, Jackson, Michigan in 1929. His "Grandpa Isaac" made Everett his first club in his blacksmith shop.
Upon retirement, "Ev" and Bernice moved to Bradenton, Florida. Everett died 4 April 1998. Bernice died 2 Nov. 1999. Their remains are buried in the memorial gardens of Sts. Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church in Bradenton, Florida.
