The 1640 Hart House was partially built about 1640. In 1755 it was purchased by Phillip Lord and remained in his possession until his death in 1816. His daughter Sarah Lord Kimball then became the owner. Her son Isaac eventually sold it. It is now a restaurant called the 1640 Hart House on Linebrook Road in Ipswich.
