Starting With Me ~~~ A LEWIS

My love of genealogy started about 5-6 years ago when I began hunting down my great grandfather, Joseph Alexander Lewis, b. ca. 1855. He lived in Dallas, TX in 1888 with my great grandmother, Mary Grace Clink. For whatever reason, they parted ways in 1894/95 after having two sons, and Joseph was never heard from again. I've found a Joseph Alexander Lewis (b. 1856) who showed up in Fort Worth, TX in 1895/96, but I still haven't been able to confirm a link.
Along with this search of my father's side of the family I've also added my maternal branches, thanks to my Mom, Dad, Aunt and 2nd Cousins, and my daughter, who has also found genealogy research as enjoyable as I have. I'm sure I will continue to add more, and possibly change things, as I continue my never-ending search.
Please feel free to send any corrections, additions, etc., as I am not perfect and can make mistakes.
