Family Tree of Janke Lorenzen from Fohr, Germany

Beginning in the summer of 2001 I started to research my Grandfather's family as I was in the process of planning a trip to visit his birthplace in Germany. I found that there was a lot of information on Lorenzens from Germany, even from Fohr, but they did not seem to be related to me. After visiting the island, and locating some living relatives with the help of other kind Lorenzen's (no relation), I was able to begin building a Family Tree based on the Descendants of my Great Grandfather and Grandmother, Janke and Mathilde (Andresen) Lorenzen. As far as I know, there are no other family trees on this line of Lorenzens.

I am now in the process of gathering more information from relatives about the family, and completing the family tree so that all of the Descendants of Janke and Mathilde Lorenzen are listed. If you have any information, please contact me. It is exciting to be locating and meeting family members I never knew existed.

I am also searching for ancestory information on Janke Lorenzen and Mathilde Andresen. I know that Janke Lorenzen was German, and that some of their children were born in Neukirchen, Denmark. The family then moved to the Isle of Fohr, Germany, an island in the North Sea. I do not have any information beyond my Great Grandparents.
