My research involves New England and Clinton county, New York. On my fathers' side, I've found Bleau ancestors in Vermont, Quebec, Acadia and Normandy, France. They intermarried with Antoine Heberts' descendants in Quebec, and Cross and Jennette families in Clinton County, New York. We suspect that the Cross family was Mohawk, and that is something I would like to verify. Dad's maternal side was from Hancock county Maine, and features the names Hagan (or Heagan), Butler, Moon, Springer and Googins, among others. James Hagan was born in Ireland about 1809 and I would like to find out his parents' names so that I can pursue further research in Ireland.
On my mothers' side, my research involves Perkins' from Elmira, New York and Clinton, Massachusetts, and the Dunn family that settled in Pawcatuck, Connecticut after emigrating from Glasgow, Scotland in 1885. Because my research has focussed on my father's side, I know very little about my mom's side of the family yet, but I recently discovered mom's Perkins half brothers and sisters from Vermont and New Hampshire, and just met them at a family reunion in July.

If anyone has information about any of these families I would appreciate it and I would be willing to share what I have.
