Walgamot born in Md.c.1825 and his ancestors.Also researching allied families such as Millers, Aveys, Abells, Brantleys,Rhodes, Olivers etc.I would like to find who Thomas L. Walgamot's parents were.He was born in Maryland,probably Hagerstown in 1825 and went to Little Rock Arkansas by 1841,New Orleans,La. by 1845 where he continued to live until his death on July 30,1866.He had 2 brothers-Joseph Napoleon Walgamot b. 8-18-1818 in Hagerstown,Md. and C.A. Walgamot b. c. 1827 in Md.All 3 are in the N.O.La.1850 census and Joseph N. is in the 1860 census of Fulton Co. Ky. and the 1870 census of Miss.Co.Mo.while Thomas is in the 1860 census of N.O.La.and C.A. Walgamot disappears from any more censuses anywhere which leads me to believe he died bet,1850-1860 probably in N.O.La. |
