* "The Lott's in America"*

Updated September 6, 2000

This site attempts to retrace the ascendency of the Lott's in America. This site will seek to examine the arrival of the surname in colonial America to their expansion into the Ohio Valley and beyond. The names in this search inculde, but are not limited to Lott, Sherwoods, Bradford, Wolfe, Forsythe, allebaugh, Kelly, Moore, Hess, Richards, all which arrived prior to the 20th century.
Extensive research has been completed on the Descendents of Charles Lott Sr. who arrived in the Ohio Valley in approximately 1806, but work continues on his siblings and his ancestors.

Also included in this site are the origins of he Bradford-Sherwoods, who also arrived in Colonial America, so far little is known of this group beyond their exploits in exercising their right to worship freely.
