This clan of Lovelys migrated from Nova Scotia and settled in Fort Fairfield, Maine. I am currently looking to verify John Lovely Sr.'s parents. John was supposedly born in New Brunswick, Canada in 1815 to James and Elizabeth Lovely. There was a William Lovely, one of the first settlers of Fort Fairfield, that may have been a brother to John but cannot find any verification of this presently. Both seem to have come thru Perth/Andover, New Brunswick, Canada. Any information would certainly be welcomed and any information that I may have that could be useful to you is available.
