Hello from the El Cajon Valley of Southern California, about 15 miles east of San Diego. We are pleased to have you visit our Home Page. The surnames and locations most interested in are.....
From Monroe County, New York-- LOWE, MOREY, STEWART, HARNES, CARSON, CREIDT, BAILEY and McMANNIS.
From Broome County, New York--MOREY, RUSSELL, BULGER,
and GILBERT. The above surnames lived in New York from the early 1800's to the present. Of particular interest are Rufus MOREY, born in Massachusetts {approx.1835-1836} and John LOWE or LOW, born Torbay, Avalon Peninsula, Newfoundland, Canada {approx 1775}.
Rosemary {Ryan} Lowe moved to California in 1957 from her hometown of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Her interests are mainly in Essex County, Massachusetts with the surnames of RYAN, BLACKBURN, PERRY, SPINNEY, SHARP and RIPLEY. Most of the above surnames lived in Massachusetts from the early 1900's to the present.
All the above ancestors orginally came to the United States from England or Ireland.
