| James J. LOWE was the son of Nancy LOWE, a recorded landowner of Monroe County, AL. He is believed to have been born around 1825 in South Carolina and was a brother of John LOWE. I am attempting to identify his father who may have been born in South Carolina and descended from John LOWE of Halifax County, NC. Any information about this family line before or after James J. LOWE will be appreciated, though I possess a fairly complete lineage through Daniel William LOWE, born in Choctaw County, AL and Abura Hansel LOWE, born in Jones County, MS to the current generation. |
