* The John Lowery Family Home Page*

Updated June 26, 2012

I am researching Levi Greenberry Lowery from Marion County, Arkansas; he was born about 1847. I believe he was orphaned in April 1857 with several brothers and had a guardian appointed, Henry Lowry. I also believe he was living with a physician, Enoch Softly from Tennessee in Scott Township of Lawrence County, AR in 1860 according to the census. I would like to find his father's and mother's information.

I also am looking for my wife's family. Thomas Stubbs (immigrant) married Mary Minor in late 1680's- 1720's. Their son Daniel Stubbs married Ruth Gilpin about 1750; their daughter Elizabeth Stubbs married William Trego, a Continental soldier under Washington. I am trying to confirm dates, and other relatives through their tree to go back to England/ or Scotland. Stubbs, Minor, Trego, Gilpin, Thomas; PA, England, Scotland 1600 and later.

Any information will be appreciated and I will share any that I have.
