| I am researching the LOWRANCE and WILLIAMS families found in the Southern states. So far, I have found as far back as LOWRANCE, (Eli M.) b. Abt. 1830 d. Abt. 1865 who married Martha E. Hill in Searcy, Arkansas. Martha had previously married Spencer W. Hill and had two children, John Spencer and Annie M. After the Lowrance marriage, Eli and Martha migrated to Pattonville, TX. and had five children, Sarah, George B., Joseph A., Lora F., Mary Kate. On the WILLIAMS side, I only know that my father was WILLIAMS, (James Marion) b. May 9, 1905 in Atmore, AL d. Dec. 24, 1985 in San Angelo, Tom Green Co., TX. He married Mary Elvie BOX and had one child, Malinda Ann WILLIAMS. Other names I am researching are: BENTLEY,(Ellis R.)1825-1904; DAVIS,(William P.)1835-1916; and HARDEE,(George W.)1874-1936. All of these people were last located in northeast Texas. |
