Researching ancestors of KAZIMIERZ LUCZYNSKI and BRONISLAWA SCZEPANIK (husband and wife).Other names I am researching are Woodrow, Mazurkiewicz (cousins of Kazimierz Luczynski), KUKLA (mother of Bronislawa Sczepanik), Kroll, Barnarsh, Holota, Grela, and Baratta.KAZIMIERZ LUCZYNSKI immigrated from Bremen, Germany on or about the 15th of May, 1904. He was born on the 4th of December, 1885. He arrived in the US at the port of New York on the 23rd day of May, 1904 on a vessel Kaiser Welhelm. He settled in Chicago and Spring Valley, Illinois. He resided in Omaha, Nebraska from 1918 until his death on the 15th of April, 1947.Kazimierz had a cousin, Nellie Woodrow, who lived in Portland Oregon, and a cousin, George Mazurkiewicz, who lived in Spring Valley, Illinois.BRONISLAWA SCZEPANIK immigrated from Bremen Germany in about 1902. She was born on the 25th day of May, 1890 at Liedliska, Poland. Bronislawa immigrated with two sisters, Anna and Magdalena, and a cousin, Katherine Kukla. From New York, this group moved to Chicago, Illinois.Bronislawa had two brothers, Walter and Louis C. Anthony. Louis and his wife, Katherine, had four children, Stanley, Jean, Helen, and Thaddeus. After Louis' death, Katherine broke connections with the family. Thaddeus died at the age of 12 and is buried in the Parrotts Cemetary.Anna Sczepanik married into the Grela family. Magdalena Sczepanik married into the Barnish family, and had three children, Irene, Edward, and Florence. Irene and Edward died at the age of 21 from tuberculosis. Florence married Joseph Holota. They had one child.The Sczepanik sisters' mother was Victorja Kukla. Victorja had a sister Agatha, who is the mother of Katherine. Katherine Kukla married Ignatius Kroll. They had eight children, Joseph, Mike, Pete, Josephine, Estelle & Stanley (twins), Ed, and one other. Estelle married and had a daughter, Lorraine, who died in her 30's. Lorraine's son, Dennis, lives in Chicago.KAZIMIERZ and BRONISLAWA had 10 children, Anna, Benard, Helen, Walter, Frank, Joseph, Irene, Edmund, Virginia, and Matthew. All living children, Frank, Irene, Edmund and Virginia still reside in Omaha, Nebraska. The others resided in Omaha, Nebraska until their death.Matthew died as a very young child.Walter Luczynski married Charlotte Paultz. They had two children, Walter (died as a child) and Bobby Joe. Walter and Charlotte were divorced. Charlotte remarried a Peter (?) Baratta. (I am searching for Bobby Joe.)Frank Luczynski had seven children. One daughter, Linda Jean, is missing. She was born on the 11th of March, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska. She was married and divorced and may be going by her married name, Cohn.If you have any information you can share on any of the names I am researching, I would be very interested in hearing from you.
