| I've been working on and off for the past eight years on the families of myself and my wife. I've been lucky to have had several other people working on different lines who have assisted me greatly. Most of all was a person I never got a chance to know, my grandmother Louis Elleah Wittig. I was fortunate that she was a collector of information about herself and her family. My uncle Fr. William A. Ludwig inherited many of her belongings including my grandmother's collections. When my uncle died my father came to own these items. I've been working on documenting as much of this information before it gets split up among my brothers and sisters so that all our family will have access to this information. Since my father passed away some of this information has dissapeared and I hope to collect it again and gather it into a family website for all our family. John | |
