| My GGF Dietrich Luetjen was born in Huettenbusch, Germany on February 7, 1836. Parents Gerd Luetjen and Grete Kuck. He came to Benton Co, MO in 1856 with his brothers, Gevert b.Apr 1, 1826, Johann b.May 19 1840 and Hinrich b.Oct 8, 1844. and later moved to Lafayette Co, MO. Gerd and 2nd wife Anna are buried in Meade, KS. Their dau. Meta m. Claus Boerger 3/12/1892 in Mt Hulda Ev. Lutheran Church in Cole Camp, Benton Co. Mo. Gevert m. Meta Boettjer 12/23/1852. They had 13 children: Meta b.1849, Diedrich b. 4/18/1852, Herman b.12/6/1853, Martin b. 11/121/1855, John b. 3/26/1858, Margaret b. 5/12/1860, George Gevert b. 12/14/1861, Diedrich b. 1864, George b. 3/24/1865, Sena b. 12/6/1866, Henry b. 8/10/1868, Anna b. 7/23/1869, Maria b. 1/29/1871. GGF Dietrich married Henriette Elling, widow of Johann Wilhelm Elling on September 1, 1865 in Concordia, Lafayette Co, MO. Two Sons: Heinrich Luetjen b. July 11, 1866, Martin C Luetjen b.
