The Jerry M. Luoma Family Home Page

I am researching the LUOMA family from Colorado. John Jalmer Luoma was born in Leadville on August 13, 1900 and had five brothers and two sisters. His sisters Alma and Hilia live in Sacramento, California. He worked as a cook for the government surveyors, was a miner at Climax, and was a carpenter when they built Camp Hale in 1940.
John married Viola A. Kangas, (born August 24, 1904 in Cederedge, Colorado) at Sargents, Colorado in June of 1927. Viola had three sisters and four brothers. Her brother Sam lived in Anaheim, California and her youngest brother Bill lived in Hayward, California.

In addition, I'm researching Herman Carstens from Illinois area, whose father Hartwig Carstens and mother, Williamina, both from Germany. And, Gottlieb Low (dob: 6/3/1846) from Wittenburg, Germany and Ricke Groteke (dob: 10/11/1853) from Hazen, Germany. And, Samuel Pugh from England and Jessie Bailey from England.

Last by not least, I am also searching for any info on Odessa (Eaton) Kightlinger, Asa Edward Kightlinger. This is one side of the family that I realy need help on.
Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. Thanks for all your help.
