Murray's of Ayrshire

This is the information so far, still a lot of work to be done. Hopefully someone will connect and link up through this Home Page.

The first David Murray was born in Kilmarnock and married three times. Then some years later we turn up in Mauchline just after the time of Robert Burns. This David Murray was an Innkeeper. Would love to find out which inn he was keeper of.

Then up the valley to Galston with another David. We have not been very adventurous up to now, no-one so far has moved more than 10 miles. Then with the next generation some settled in Ayrshire, a son went to South Africa and a daughter to Canada.

The generation of now that we know are quite well spread, around Ayrshire that is, and cousins keep in touch with cousins and all are very close.
