In an inventory of his estate he was called Richard Attnoke, alias Austin" The article, p 14C, also has "The founder of the Austin family in America was Richard Austin, who arrived with his family aboard the Bevis in 1638 in Massachusetrts Bay. Also on board were Agnes Littlefield and six of her children. Her maiden name was Austin. She named one son Anthony Littlefield. Richard Austin also also named a son Anthony. There is a good possibility that Agnes Littlefield and Richard Austin were siblings and that their father was Richard Austin of Titichfield, Hampshire, England'.
