1. ALBERT ANDRIESSEN1 BRADT was born Abt. 1607 in Frederickstad, Norway, and died June 7, 1686 in New York. He married (1) ANNETJE BARENTS VAN ROTMERS. She died 16621. He married (2) GEETRY VOSBURG.

Collections on History of Albany, ALBANY, N. Y.: J. MUNSELL, 82 STATE STREET. 1871 states:
"BRATT, Albert Andriese, de Noorman, had a farm and mill on the Norman's kil, which took its name
from him. In 1672, his son Barent succeeded him in the occupation of the mill, and in 1677 Teunis
Slingerland, his son-in-law, succeeded to the lease of his farm. He died, according to Dr.
O'Callaghan, the 7th June, 1686, "een van de oudste en eerste in woonders der Colonie
Rensselaerswyck." His first wife was Annetie Barentse Van Rotmers, who was deceased in 1662. On the 24th Oct., 1670, the governor gave an order for ??ration of Albert Andriese and Geertruy Vos??ecause "strife and difference hath arisen be??em." His
children, all by his first wife pro??Barent; Eva, the wife first of Antony de ??and second of Roeloff
Swartwout of Esopus; ??alias Storm Albertse Vanderzee; Engeltie, ??of Teunis Slingerland of
