I think that Stephan and his family moved to Michigan after William J. was born in 1859 in PA. Stephen's wife and all their children except William were born in OH, so I would guess that Stephen was in OH after he left his birthplace of MA. He and his family are in Trumbull County OH in the 1850 Census. I have no idea how their youngest child 1859) happened to be born in PA. I have searched the 1860 census records for OH, PA and MI -- no luck with any of them! The next youngest child was born in OH in 1856, so it must have been after that when they moved to PA, and apparently were in MI by 1865, with Sarah with them, when she died. Wish I could find them in 1860!
