| I am searching for relatives of Della Rodgers of Martin Co., NC. She is my great-great grandmother. I have a copy of a will which she names my mother, aunts, uncles and cousins as her great grandchildren and grandchildren. Part of the will reads that land in Bear Grass, Martin Co, NC was conveyed to her by John M Green in 1883. She first appears on the 1910 census for Bear Grass, Martin Co, NC. with a son named George and a son John with his wife Sylvania. I also found census records for 1920 which includes her son John Rodgers' children, Della A Rodgers, Noah Rodgers, and John G Rodgers. In 1930 includes my uncle Charles Stokes. I am searching for her family before 1910. This would include the name of my great grandmother who was married to Charley Stokes and had children Anna Bell Stokes (my grandmother) and George Stokes. This search will also help me to put together relationships of other family names Andrews, Moye and Stokes all from Williamston, Martin Co, NC. These are African-American families, but I believe other races will be included as research developes.
