Their son Charles Henry Luthy and his first wife Sarah Yoho had 7 children, Elile, John S., Sarah E., Charles Haymond, Charles Samuel, Christian R., and Mary Louisa. This family came to Jackson Co. IL shortly after the end of the Civil War. After Sarah died Charles married Clarissa Caroline Joyce, and they had 7 children: Leonora, Clara, Lionel, Naomi, Simon, Adella, and Thomas. Lionel born July 26, 1880 married Cora Belle Williams b. Sept. 17, 1889, their son C. Henry Luthy b. Dec. 16, 1908, married Marie Bagley, they had 6 children.
