I am researching the following surnames: the Pankey's, of Illinois, Gallatin Co. and Saline Co., 1800-present. I am a direct desc. of William Hampton and Hannah Empson Pankey. The Bogardus family of Illiniois and New York.I am desc. of Capt. Adam Henry and Cordelia Ann Deerstine/Deerstien Bogardus. Capt. Adam Henry Bogardus was Champion Wingshot of the World in the mid 1800's and later a showman in various Wild West Show's. The Merritt's of Hermitage, Virginia and Logan Co., Illinois, desc. of Samuel Valentine and Edna Bell Ross Merritt. The Shreves's of PA.,MD.,Ohio, and Fulton CO. Ill., desc. of Thomas and Rachael Grey/Gray Shreves. Have extensive family tree for Pankey and Bogardus lines. I am also working on my Husband's genealogy, researching the surnames of Lyons, Dudley and Bingham. My husband's grandparents were: Frank Lucas and Margaret Jane Henson Lyons, and Jesse William and Laura Bingham Dudley, all of Kentucky.
