I am searching for information on the following people: Johnathan Lyons (born 1700), Nathaniel Lyons (b. 1735-1740), John Lyons (b. abt. 1765), Frances Lyons (born 1810), John Lyons (Born abt. 1836), Maston Green Lyons (born abt 1875). John Lyons (1836) was married to Sarah Evaline Tarver of the Georgia Tarvers. The descendants of Maston Green Lyons were born and raised on Lookout Mountain near Fort Payne, Alabama. I am also looking for information about Joseph Harvey Slaton (b. 1875, d. 1950). He was married to Flora Rena Priest. She died abt. 1917, and He married Sally White. He was the son of Martha Elizabeth Reynolds of North Carolina and Unknown Slaton. His father died when he was about 2 years old, and in abt 1887 Martha Elizabeth Reynolds married Jefferson Davis Brown. They also had a son, James Luther Brown. Joseph Harvey Slaton spent most of his life in Cleburne County, Alabama, but he may have come through Atlanta. Please remember that this is a work in progress. Some of the information may be incorrect, so I wouldn't recommend using it as a primary source yet. Any additional information is welcome. Other surnames in my line include Rogers, Ferguson (Fargeson), Nappier, Tidwell, Storey, Drain, Teel, Stockton, Lightfoot, Cox, Hilton, Coleman, and Lilliard. |
