The Lyon Family Home Page

I am researching information on the LYON family who, since the early 1900's have lived in northern and central Michigan, My father Richard Elias Lyon was the son of Elias (b 08/21/1887) & Industry (Dussie) Lyon (b 03/19/1890) who lived in Barryton, MI, I believe Eli's brothers resided, for the most part, in the Grand Rapids area. My Grandmothers maiden name was Warner. Also I am searching my mothers side. Her maiden name was Blackmer from the Remus and St. John's area. I believe my Great Grandmother Annie, who's maiden name was SHEFFIELD came from CANADA (b 03/20/1870). She married Andrew Jackson Winnie in October, 1876 in Mason County. When she died her name was Deardorff, she must have re-married, but I have no record of that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
