| We are just beginning our search for our family tree of the Lytle & Porter families. Some of the names included are: LYTLE'S - Godfrey, McIlmolye, Stinson, Jewel - PORTER'S - Comstock, Croutch, Ground, Starky & Elliot. All of these families settled in Ontario(lower half) except for the Comstock family which came from New York area mostly Long Island and they apparently went there from Pennslyvania in the early 1900's. I hope to be able to put together our tree with anticipation of great success !!!! Our Lytle family in the last 100 years have been located in the Lindsay/Peterborough areas and the Porter family mainly in Toronto, Mount Albert, Newmarket, and possibly London areas. |
