CHADWELL STATION'S CHURCH
The church was first built by David Chadwell in 1785 and it is still used every Sunday
and many days of the week by it's members. A lot of effort has been expended by it's
menbers to keep it standing. It has been remodeled many times over the past 216 years.
The bricks used for the exterior wall certainly were not available in Lee County, Virginia
in 1795.
