ROBERT EUGENE LEE MAIB 8-11-1873 1-2-1933
The last child of Morris was said to have been spoiled by his Mother and family. He married Maggie Dagley in 1896. She was the daughter of a Confederate veteran and lived near Kearney, about 12 miles from Libert and about 6 miles from the Maib home. He met her when he was visiting her cousin who at the time had charge of the County Home. On one of the early dates he took her to his home where there was a party in progress in the big brick house. He was traveling man and was away from his home a great deal. He was finally divorced and remarried later. He had no children by his second marriage, but had six by his first. His wife, Maggie, was very friendly and much attached to her husband's sister, Mary Elizabeth.
