KINGS MOUNTAIN Sudie Chapman Peele, 91, resident of Summitt Place, died Nov. 2, 2002, at home.
She was a native of Stokes County, daughter of the late Thomas William and Hester Mabe Chapman.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Central Methodist Church
BURIAL: Mountain Rest Cemetery
VISITATION: One hour before the service, the church

She was retired from Mauney Hosiery Mills in Kings Mountain, NC. When her health permitted, she was a very active member of Central Methodist Church and member of Daughter's of Wesley Sunday School class and Circle number one. She was also a member of the Kings Mountain Woman's Club and Woodman of the World. Sudie's family would like to thank you for all the acts of kindness during her active life and while living at Summitt Place of Kings Mountain.
SURVIVORS: Stepmother, Silla Chapman Sikes, High Point, NC; sister, Elizabeth Peace and husband Joe of Birmingham, Alabama; brothers, James Robert "Bob" Chapman and wife Alease of Jamestown, NC, Dallas Chapman and wife Joyce, and Boyd Chapman and wife Billie of High Point, NC. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
