Henry Kable (26 August 1762 - 16 March 1846) arrived as a convict on the First Fleet to the colony of New South Wales. His son William Nathaniel Kable married Elizabeth Charlton (22 August 1807 - 28 June 1860) daughter of Second Fleet marine William Charlton and convict Marry Getty.
Their daughter Susannah Agnes Kable (7 June 1826 - 20 January 1911) was born near Windsor in New South Wales. She married in 1845, John Shand Maclean born in 1816 in Jamaica, son of a court official, Hugh Maclean, who is believed to have come from the Isle of Skye.

Eric Burnett Maclean (13 October 1860 - 4 April 1951) was born of Barwood Station in the Burnett region of Queensland. He married Elizabeth Penhallurick, daughter of Cornish miner/publican Martin Penhallurick (26 December 1843 - 6 February 1899). This family had come from the Stithians/Gwennap area of Cornwall.

Eric Leslie Maclean (15 October 1893 - 31 January 1976) was born in Westwood via Rockhampton in Queensland. He lived most of his life in Bowen, where he married Moira Devlin Tracey.

Moira Tracey's mother Maggie Drynoch Hall-Scott (20 August 1866 - 8 September 1958) married George Henry Tracey in 1896 in Normanton, Queensland where he was the postmaster. George Henry Tracey died soon after in 1901 at Springsure where he had been transferred.

Henry Tracey, George Henry's father also died in 1901 in Croydon, Queensland, where he had been operating a store with his uncle Joseph. Henry Tracey's father, George Tracey, died aged 29, at Bishopsteignton, in Devon.

George Tracey married Sarah Butler on 21 January 1828 at St David's, Exeter. George was the son of stonemason George Tracey and Hanna Brimblecombe. This couple had 15 children and lived at West Teignmouth, Devon.

Sarah Butler's parents were butcher, Philip Butler and Ann Hearding from Alwington, Devon.

Maggie Hall-Scott's mother was Sarah Ross (10 December 1833 - 27 August 1922) whose family orginated in Dingwall, Rosshire. Sarah's father, Henry Ross (18 April 1794 - 11 February 1884) married Anne Mackay in 1826, and at one time owned Kennahaird, a farm near Contin, Rosshire.

Henry Ross's father, Donald Ross (8 February 1757 - 10 January 1817) was the head gardener at Tulloch Castle near Dingwall.
