Mrs. James Lynch

A Noble Woman Goes to her Reward.

Mrs. Mary Lynch, wife of James Lynch, died at her home near Bedford, Friday morning Jan., 17th. 1920, at four o'clock of heart trouble, she was only sick one hour. Although up to this time she, had been in poor health, often complaining but her friends and love ones though nothing serious and her death came as a great shock to them.
Mrs. Mary Lynch was born April 3rd, 1859, and at the time of her death was in her 61st, year. She was the daughter, of Mr. Shadrick and Harriett Barnes.
She united with the Poplar Ridge Baptist church in 1884 and lived a devoted life to that faith and was always ready to extend help to the needy and comfort to the sorrowing. Her home was a christian home, and a home where her pastor was always welcome.
On October 31, 1888 she was united in marriage to James Lynch, who now surivies her. To this union there were no children born. She leaves to mourn: a loving husband, one brother, Mr. Nathan Barnes, three sisters, Mrs. Eliza Lynch, Mrs. Bettie Garriott and Mrs. Fannie Perkinson, all of this county.
