Gina Casimiro is the owner and she says Sarah was a terrific employee that had boundless energy, "I used to say gosh, you just have so much energy. Just like Tinkerbell, and the name kinda stuck," said Casimiro. Dawn Frates also worked with Sarah, and through tears, she shared her memories of the teen. "She always had a smile on her face. There was just really a beautiful energy about her," Frates said. And one of Sarah's friends, Tia Shultz, just couldn't believe that this had happened to her friend. "I wish she could have had more, had a better shot at life. She wasn't even 18 yet." Sarah was driving the car that rolled, and was partially ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Colorado Springs police report their initial investigation shows Conrad was driving eastbound near Tamlin Boulevard and Marksheffel Road Friday night. Police say it appears she was going too fast, and failed to negotiate a left 90-degree curve, running off the road and rolling at least one time. The passenger, another 17-year-old girl, was taken to Memorial Hospital (Central) with minor injuries ------------------------------------------------------------- |
