In the 1870 census of Carbon Twp, Huntington Co, PA Thomas and Catherine are living at home; William Madigan, age 35, is boarding.

In the 1880 census of the above area only Matthew O'Brien, daughter of Mary is living with Matthew and Catrin.

Thomas Mulvihill is living next door with wife Ann and children William, Catrin, Matthew and ??? and boarders John Toohy and Patrick Burns both age 26.

Was a baptismal sponsor in Holy Trinity Church,Huntington, PA in July 1855 for William Madigan son of Patrick and Catherine (Leech) Madigan. Todate (Jan 2009) this is the earliest documented proof of Matthew that I have seen.

In the 1870 census there is a Catherine Mulvahill boarding withTimothy Kan on p. 12. A son John Mulvahill is living there also age 1. Since this is the only John close to this DOB; this could be Catherine Carr only this DOB is way off; 1833 vs 1845??

He married NORA ENRIGHT 24 Oct 1884 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co, PA, daughter of MAURICE ENRIGHT and MARY STACK. She was born 21 Sep 1861 in Co Kerry, Ireland, and died 1937.

Notes for TIMOTHY MULVIHILL:
Census reports of 1870 and 1900 indicate he immigrated in 1870; may have traveled with Honora.

Per CJ's research, Timothy told his grandson John J that he had been on the 'run' for 17 years prior to his immigration. He never did explain why. This probably explains why he immigrated later than the main family; but where was Honora all this time? Her birth date, being so much later than her siblings raises all kind of questions-but no answers.

In 1870 census he is living with John Madigan(b.1808) family in Carbon Twp, Huntington Co, PA

Death certificate lists pnemonia as cause of death after falling and breaking his left leg.
