Ancestors of my young sons Ryan and Devin Magee. Includes mostly PA-located ancestors (exception of Smith in Ohio, and Slattery and Landser in NY) that were here in the US by 1904.The majority here by 1860's. Ancestors concentrated in PA counties of Allegheny, Blair, Mifflin, Abbington, Philadelphia, and Fayette.

Surnames include: Magee, Rahenkamp, Wohleber, Miller, Bassompierre, Bogart, O'Hare, Kerrigan, Slattery, Smith, Landser, Reis, Dhrew, Major, Williamson, Robinson (or Robison), Barton, Brannon, Hurst, Kane, Seaman, McGinley, Griffith, Landser, etc. Most of either Irish, German, French or English (Welsh) roots. Some lines go back 9 or 10 generations.

One ancestor, Peacock Major, was an officer in several Revolutionary War Philadelphia area militia's -- including the PA Flying Camp of 1776. First wife, Amy Barton, was a Quaker. His father Alexander was very influential in early Abbington area of Philidelphia, and donated money to build the Presbyterian Church there. Very interested in locating other descendants and learning more about these military units and their history.

Will share/trade information.
