The Clement Family research is extensive in this branch, and is documented to the late 1600's. I am unsure of the Country of origin, but they emigrated to the USA in 1690, and settled near Albany. They remained there until the Revolutionary War when they became Loyalists and moved to Ontario, Canada. This line mingles a great deal with the Crysler family. A great deal of research information is available in this line as well. Both families have documented history as Loyalists in the 1700's and settled in the Niagara area of Canada.
Our line is:
Widow Clement - Joseph Clement - Lewis Cobes Clement - James Clement - Adam Crysler Clement - John Colby Clement Sr. - John Colby Clement Jr. - Milton Kenneth Clement - John Kenneth Clement

The Crysler line is:
Johan Philip Greisler - John Hieronymous Crysler - Adam Crysler - Catherine Crysler (married to James Clement) -

I am looking for information regarding John Colby Clement Sr. He was a sea captain on Lake Erie. His ship went down. He was married to Agnes Rogens and said to be buried in Virgil, Ontario.

Heard of a Clement Family Reunion that used to be held in Ontario, when I was a child. My Great Uncle Robert Clement used to attend. Our family in NYS would love to make a connection!

Happy to trade or share information.
