First, I am researching the MAGNESS family from Pennsylvania. This family first came to Pennsylvania around 1800 and lived in the central counties of Huntingdon, Centre and Mifflin from 1830-1850. The first of this family that I have is Thomas and Jane Magness. Their children were George, Eliza, John and Rebecca. I believe that this family originated from Harford county, Maryland, but have made no positive connections at this time.

Secondly, I am researching the WINSTON line. The first of this line that I have is Richard Winston, born abt. 1710 in Virginia. He became a trader in the 1760's and moved to the Illinois country. His son Jacques (James C.) Winston settled in Ste Genevieve, Missouri.

The other related families that I am interested in are:
MALES, HOLLOWAY, LEWIS, BOYER, HENRY, HAMPEL, HANEBRINK, MOHNEY, ROACH, FLEMING, FLICK, GATES, HIWILLER.
