| It has been approximately 30 years since I first began researching my family who originally came from Mexico and now have descendants throughout the United States. It has been several years since I last worked on this project and am just now coming back to it. I have titled my home page after my Great Grandfather Francisco Magos who was the son of Lorenzo Magos and Soledad Ortiz. Francisco Magos married Sabina Sanchez and they had 8 children: Donaciano, Miguel, Felipe, Michaela, Maximina, Cornelio, Margarita and Andres. My main research has centered on the descendants of Donaciano Magos, born on September 17, 1880 in Mexico, passed away on September 16, 1930 in Fresno, California; and his wife Jesus Vega, born on May 31, 1880 in Mexico, passed away on October 31, 1972 in Madera, California. I am the son of one of their children, Victor Francisco Magos, Sr. of Madera, California. I have also compiled information on the descendants of Felipe Magos and his wife Salud Gonzalez, Michaela Magos and her husband Gregorio Orozco and Cornelio Magos and his wife Margarita Fuentes. I hope to be able to begin researching the descendant lines of the other children of Francisco Magos - Miguel, Maximina, Margarita & Andres. I would be interested to hear from anyone who has additional information on the above family members I have mentioned, as well as their descendants. |
