The Maguires have gravitated to to New Mexico and Albuquerque more specifically. James Hugh Maguire came to Grants to work for the Anaconda Copper mining Company when there was a rush to acquire as much "yellow Cake" uranium in the early fifties. William Maguire came to Albuquerque in 1953. I went to work with Lovelace Foundation whose primary purpose was medical research.
