will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
The family names I am researching are: MAIMONE, JUHASZ, GORZYNSKI, ZIMPLEMAN, ATTANZIA/TANSAIS, TOTH, NOWAK, HALAS, HUDAK/HNAK, and GRUBICH
Guiseppe MAIMONE and his wife Josephine ATTANZIA (poss. TANSAIS) came to the United States from Italy. A birth certificate record lists Rosario, born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts in November of 1913 as their child. Family legend tells of Rosorio's adoption by an uncle and aunt. This is my earliest and almost all of my information.
Donald ZIMPLEMAN lived and/or passed through St. Joseph Co., Indiana at one point in his life (around 1947) and Harriet GORZYNSKI lived there most if not her entire life. They had one child: a daughter, born in January of 1948. After 1950 when a document states that Donald was a non-resident of Indiana, I have been unable to find any more records of his existance or lack thereof. I am desperatly searching for any information on my grandfather, Donald ZIMPLEMAN.
Martin GORZYNSKI and his wife Anna GRUBICH are listed on their son's marriage document as living in Buffalo, New York. This would have been in 1913 or 1915. Martin's occupation was listed as fireman.
