Bales cemetery is the resting place for Christopher Main Jr. his wife Mahala Johnston and some members of their family including sons Samuel (1821-1842), David A. (1835-1872) and Lewis W. (1836-1872). Also buried here are some children of Wm J. Main and his first wife Rachel Wrightsman, but I can not find the stones for Wm J & Rachel. The cemetery is east of the White Branch Church.
